Column Heading Descriptions

Below is an alphabetized list of column headings that appear in all Performance Reports. Click on a heading to display a short description of its meaning. The associated reports appear in brackets [ ] following each description.

Access Method

HTTP method used to access the webpage (GET, POST, HEAD, etc.). [Transaction Detail Report]

Action Description

Description of the Actions in a DéjàClick Transaction. [DéjàClick Action Detail Report]

Alert Type

Type of alert sent (error, clear, traceroute) to the notifier. [Notification Detail Report]

Attempt

This will be 1 if there were no errors detected when accessing the web page. This will be 2 if a second attempt is done in the event of an error to verify if the error persists. [Diagnostics Detail Report]

Average Response Time

Average response time for loading the URL over the specified time interval. [Page Objects Report]

Connect Time

Average time it took during the specified time period to connect to your web server after DNS lookup. [Regional Breakdown Report, Detail Report]

Content Download

Average time it took during the specified time period to download the contents of the base web page (layout), or in the case of a transaction, from the time the first byte of the first page in the transaction is retrieved until the last byte of the last page of the transaction. Cumulative Response Time

In DéjàClick Transactions, the accumulated time as each step in the transaction progresses. [DéjàClick Action Detail Report]

Date/Time Stamp

Date and time the notification was sent. [Notification Detail Report]

Device

Site, Transaction, or ServerAgent device name. [Summary Statistics Report, Outage Detail Report]

Device Description

Site, Transaction, or ServerAgent device name. [Notification Detail Report]

DNS

Number of Status 51 errors that occurred during the specified time period. [Regional Breakdown Report]

DNS Time

The average time it took during the specified time period to do a DNS lookup of the IP address of your site.[Regional Breakdown Report, Detail Report]

DOM Load

The time it takes to complete the page's document parsing into the DOM (Document Object Module). Note: referenced style-sheets, images and sub-frames may not have completed loading. Errors

Number of times ServerAgent detected that the monitored metric passed the error threshold. [!ServerAgent Detail Report]

Event Description

Description of Events in the selected DéjàClick Action. [DéjàClick Event Detail Report]

First Byte

The average time it took during the specified time period to retrieve the first byte of HTML from your website after connecting to your server and performing any redirects. [Regional Breakdown Report, Detail Report]

Fullpage Response Time

The average time it took during the specified time period to retrieve the entire page, including objects, from the DNS lookup time through the full download of your website or transaction. [Regional Breakdown Report, Detail Report]

Host Name

The name of the DéjàClick transaction or server name listed in the URL field of the Site device. [Diagnostic Detail Report]

Hour of Day

Hour of the day for the gathered measurements. [Statistics by Hour of Day]

HTTP Status

Status code returned from your web server in response to the HTTP request. Click on HTTP Status to display the HTTP Status Codes Help Screen. [Detail Report]

Individual Page Time

Applicable to DéjàClick transactions, this is the range distribution of the full page response time of individual pages. Individual pages are not transaction steps, they are what appears in the Detail report as subitems of events that generate network activity, such as the navigate and link click events. Only pages with status 0 are counted. For details on how this is calculated, see Fullpage Time Distribution. [Detail Report]

IP Address

IP Address of the accessed object. Only for devices with Fullpage option. [Fullpage Report, HTTP Step Report, Page Objects Report]

Largest Fullpage Status

The highest AlertSite Status Code detected for the current time stamp. Click on Status for the AlertSite Status Code Help Screen. [Detail Report]

Last Checked

Time stamp of the most recent test. [Site Status Report]

Last Error

Last time an error was detected. [Site Status Report]

Last FP Date/Time

Most recent Fullpage response time reported by this monitoring location. [Event Detail Report]

Last Warning

Last time a warning (unverified error) was detected. [Site Status Report]

Location

Monitoring location(s) for this device. [Regional Breakdown Report] The list of locations where the outage was reported. [Outage Detail Report]

Location Description

Monitoring location that reported the alert to the notifier. [Notification Detail Report]

Max. Response Time

The longest response time for loading the URL during the specified time interval. [Page Objects Report]

Message

HTTP message returned from accessing the page. [Diagnostic Detail Report]

Min. Response Time

The shortest response time for loading the URL during the specified time interval. [Page Objects Report]

No. of Alerts

Total number of alerts sent at this time stamp. [Notification Detail Report]

Notification Method

Alert method - email, phone, text message, etc. - that the notifier was configured with. [Notification Detail Report]

Notification Recipient

Notifier that received the alert. [Notification Detail Report]

OK

Number of tests that the ServerAgent reported as no errors or warnings. [!ServerAgent Detail Report]

Other

Number of errors other than Status 1, Status 2, Status 9, or Status 51 that occurred during the specified time period. [Regional Breakdown Report]

Outage Duration

The total amount of time that the device was in error. [Outage Detail Report]

Outage End

The date and time stamp of the next OK status. [Outage Detail Report]

Outage Start

The date and time stamp when the first outage was detected. [Outage Detail Report]

Page Load

The time it takes for the page’s document to be fully loaded in the DOM (Document Object Module), including all objects and referenced scripts, style-sheets, images, and sub-frames. Note: this does not account for load time of dynamic content such as Flash applications. Ping

Number of Status 9 errors that occurred during the specified time period. [Regional Breakdown Report]

Port

Network port accessed. [Diagnostic Detail Report]

Redirect Time

The average time it took during the specified time period to do all page redirects required to get to the desired URL following connection to your server. [Regional Breakdown Report, Detail Report]

Relative Start Time

The time that the page object started loading on the page. Only for devices with Fullpage option. [Fullpage Report, HTTP Step Report]

Relative URL

The URL of each page in the transaction relative to the previous step. [Diagnostic Detail Report]

Response Time

Response time returned for the website or transaction step at the current time stamp [Diagnostic Detail Report], or response time from the location at the most current time. [Site Status Report]

Server Unreachable

Number of times ServerAgent was unable to connect to the monitored server. [!ServerAgent Detail Report]

Site Status

AlertSite Status Code. Green indicates no error, red indicates error. Click Status to display AlertSite Status Code Help Screen. [Detail Report]

Status

Status code and short description of the error. [Outage Detail Report]

Step Description

URL step in this event of this action in the transaction. [Transaction Detail Report]

TCP Connect

Number of Status 1 errors that occurred during the specified time period. [Regional Breakdown Report]

Throughput Kbytes/sec

Average website/transaction download speed during the specified time period. [Regional Breakdown Report]

Timeouts

Number of Status 2 errors that occurred during the specified time period. [Regional Breakdown Report]

Time Stamp

Date and time the check was performed. [Detail Report]

Total

Total number of all errors that occurred during the specified time period. [Regional Breakdown Report]

Total Errors

Total number of errors detected during the outage period. [Outage Detail Report]

Total Response Time

The average time it took during the specified time period to retrieve the entire page from the DNS lookup time through the full download of your website or transaction, not including page objects. [Regional Breakdown Report, Detail Report]

Total Tests

Total number of checks performed by ServerAgent for the time period selected. [!ServerAgent Detail Report]

Type

The device's site type. [Summary Statistics Report]

URL

List of URLs in the web page. [Page Objects Report]

Warning

Number of times ServerAgent detected that the monitored metric passed the warning threshold. [!ServerAgent Detail Report]

# Alerts

Number of times during the specified time period that an alert notification was sent to notifiers. [Regional Breakdown Report, Scheduled Summary Report]

# Available

Number of times the site/transaction reported as available (up and running) during the specified time period. [Regional Breakdown Report]

# Bytes

Number of bytes in the page object. Only for devices with Fullpage Option. [Fullpage Report, HTTP Step Report, Page Objects Report]

# Checks

Number of times the monitoring location checked the site/transaction during the specified time period. [Regional Breakdown Report, Scheduled Summary Report, Scheduled Summary Report]

# Check-in Errors

Number of times the ServerAgent was unable to check in to the monitored server during the specified time period. [Scheduled Summary Report]

# Errors

Number of errors detected while monitoring the site or transaction, or the number of check-in and threshold errors reported by ServerAgent, during the specified time period. [Scheduled Summary Report]

# Threshold Errors

Number of times the ServerAgent detected that an error threshold for a monitored server metric was exceeded during the specified time period. [Scheduled Summary Report]

Total Transaction Time

The range distribution of the full page response time of successful monitor runs. For details on how this is calculated, see Fullpage Time Distribution. [Detail Report]

# Warnings

Number of times during the specified time period that a site/transaction reported an error that was not subsequently verified by a second check, or the number of times Server Agent detected that a warning threshold was exceeded. [Regional Breakdown Report, Scheduled Summary Report]

% Available

Percentage of time during the specified time period that the site/transaction was available (up and running). [Regional Breakdown Report, Scheduled Summary Report]
