Summary Statistics
Summarizes the response time and availability for all devices by sites and transactions. Provides a bar graph by default showing the number of checks done, availability data, response time, number of errors, number of warning and number of alerts. Report Details can also be included. For a description of heading columns, click
here.
Site Status
Provides a per-device snapshot for all monitoring locations at the current time showing the status, monitoring location state, response time, the time the site was last checked, and last error and warning times. For ServerAgent devices, the status, monitoring location state, time last checked, and last error and warning times are displayed. Report Details can also be included. For a description of heading columns, click
here.
Scheduled Summary
The Scheduled Summary Report displays the number of checks done, availability data, response time, number of errors, number of warning and number of alerts. It creates only scheduled reports, no ad hoc report generation. A dialog box is presented with the Schedule Parameters and Distribution List for the Names and Email addresses of recipients. For a description of heading columns, click
here.
Usage Report
Displays a bar graph showing the average number of measurements taken for all devices for the specified date range. The Usage Statistics section, displayed when Report Details is selected from the Include list, shows the device name and type, number of credits used (for regular, full page, capture, and
ContentViews measurements) in each of the 3 location regions, and the total number of credits used. This report is most useful for customers with Usage Based Pricing..
Detail Report
When an individual site or transaction device is selected, the Detail Report provides several options for displaying availability and response time measurements, load analysis, and summary information for the locations and date range selected. The Report Details includes drill-down capability to view capture info, event detail and diagnostic information. Each detail line breaks out the response time into individual measurement components. For a description of heading columns, click
here.
Hourly Summary
For individual site or transaction devices, this report provides the hourly average availability and response time, load analysis, and summary information for the locations and date range selected, irrespective of the device's measurement interval. When Report Details is selected from the Include list, each detail line breaks out the response time into individual measurement components averaged for each hour in the date range. Measurements reported during any hour are available through drilldown by clicking the camera icon for that hour. For a description of heading columns, click
here.
Daily Summary
For individual site or transaction devices, this report provides the daily average availability and response time, load analysis, and summary information for the locations and date range selected. When Report Details is selected from the Include list, each detail line breaks out the response time into individual measurement components averaged for each day in the date range. The Hourly Summary is available through drilldown by clicking the camera icon for each day. For a description of heading columns, click
here.
Regional Breakdown
Displays availability, error, and network statistics on a per-location basis for the selected date range to provide performance comparisons across regions. Response time and throughput measurements are broken out into individual components and displayed along with the total response time. For a description of heading columns, click
here.
Statistics by Hour of Day
Displays web page download statistics summarized for each hour of the day over the selected date range for each monitoring location selected. This provides insight into performance trends related to time of day. For a description of heading columns, click
here.
SLA Report
The Service Level Agreement (SLA) Report is for accounts with SLA (MultiPOP) devices, and provides the ability to set service level objectives for uptime, availability and response time, and then to compare actual performance against these objectives. Exclusion periods can be applied to adjust for maintenance downtime and other factors. For additional information about AlertSite's SLA Manager, click here. For a description of heading columns, click
here.
Technical Benchmark
Available as an Include option for the Detail, Hourly Summary, and Daily Summary reports, the Technical Benchmarks report compares performance measurements between two monitored web sites or transactions, and with up to 24 benchmark sites monitored by AlertSite, such as Amazon, MSN, and Yahoo!. The results are displayed on a color-coded line graph. A Site Load Analysis table lists the performance metrics for each benchmarked site as well as benchmark average. If Report Details is selected, the performance metrics for each benchmarked site's monitoring interval are also displayed for the specified date range. When comparing devices within the user's account, each device must have at least one monitoring location in common. For a description of heading columns, click
here.
Transaction Step
Available for transaction devices only, this report allows the user to choose all steps or a single step, and a single location for all steps or all locations for a single step, to display response time, load analysis and summary information for the selected locations and date range. With Report Details selected, each detail line breaks out the response time into individual measurement components averaged for each day in the date range. For a description of heading columns, click
here.
Transaction Step Summary
Available for transaction devices only, this report displays a table of transaction steps for the selected locations and date range with the availability and individual response time component measurements separated by date. The time measurements are averages from all monitoring locations included in the report. For a description of heading columns, click
here.
ServerAgent Detail
See the results of your ServerAgent monitoring in both tabular and graphic format. The report displays each monitored item as a line chart and provides drill down access to each of the measurements. For a description of heading columns, click
here.
ServerAgent Comparison
After choosing a monitored site or transaction and the ServerAgent that corresponds to that site, the report will graph the site's response time as compared to each of the ServerAgent metrics. This lets you visually see if there are any important correlations that can affect your response. For a description of heading columns, click
here.
Page Objects
For devices with the Fullpage option, this report displays response time measurements for each object on the page averaged over the selected date range. The objects on the graph are depicted using color-coded lines. The legend below the graph lists all objects. Clicking on any object displays that individual object graph on the chart. With transactions, only one page of the transaction can be selected per report. If Report Details is selected, each detail line breaks out the response time into individual measurement components averaged for each day in the date range and includes the drill-down icons. For a description of heading columns, click
here.
Notifications Detail
This report displays a table of notifications sent for a specific device, or all devices, from the locations and date range selected. The table includes the device description, number of alerts sent for this instance, location it was sent from, notification recipient, date/time stamp, notification method, type of alert, and a link to the actual notification message. This report may be viewed, emailed and scheduled. For a description of heading columns, click
here.
Outage Detail
This report displays device outage data, that is, the duration of errors. You can select one, multiple, or all devices, and date ranges for up to 3 months. All locations for all selected devices are automatically included. The information is sorted by date and includes the device name and type, total number of errors for each device, when the outage started and ended, the duration in days, hours, minutes and seconds, the location(s) where the outage occurred and the reported error status. For a description of heading columns, click
here.
SLA Summary
This report provides an executive level summary of devices configured with SLA objectives. Select one SLA device, multiple SLA devices or All Sites, the time frame, and any or all Locations. For each SLA Name, there are 3 main Features: Availability, Uptime, and Response Time. For each feature, the status of the selected SLA devices is displayed as
All (average percentage of tests during the whole reporting period, including non-SLA operating periods),
SLA (average percentage of tests during SLA operating periods),
Goal (set in SLA Objectives), and
Compliant (green
✔ or red
×).
Data Filters

Data Filters.
- Status - filter your report by the status of each test.
- Off - report will not be filtered by status and will show the results of all tests.
- Show Only Errors - report will show only tests that failed.
- Show Only Successes - report will show only tests that were successful.
- Fullpage - filter your report depending of the availability of Fullpage timings.
- Off - report will not be filtered and will show the results of all tests.
- Show Only Fullpage Results - report will show only tests that include fullpage timings. NOTE: Fullpage timings are performed only after the base page has been successfully rendered.
- Outliers - filter statistical anomalies out of your report.
- Off - report will not be filtered and will show the results of all tests.
- Remove Outliers - report will show the top 99.75% most commonly measured values, removing measurements which fall outside the statistical norm. Use this filter to get a better picture of typical response times and to improve detail in report graphs.
Report Retention
Ad hoc reports are stored for one day in the
Document Manager. Scheduled Reports are preserved for three months or longer (check with your Performance Advisor if you need a longer default report retention period). You may keep a report forever by clicking the
